Beef & Veggie Pitas

Fresh veggies from the garden combine with deli roast beef and a tangy sauce. Also delicious with roast turkey breast.

1 Cup / 250 ml Reduced-Fat Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. / 15 ml Watkins Italian Salad Dressing Blend
1 Tbsp. / 15 ml Cider Vinegar
1/4 Cup / 60 ml Milk
4 Pita Breads (6 inches / 15 cm in diameter), sliced in half
Lettuce Leaves
12 Oz. / 340 g Thinly Sliced Deli Roast Beef
1 Medium Cucumber, thinly sliced
1 Medium Tomato, halved and thinly sliced
1 Mmedium Bell Pepper, halved and cut into slices
1 Medium Zucchini, thinly sliced
Small Red Onion, cut into slices

Combine mayonnaise, salad dressing blend, vinegar and milk; mix until smooth, then set aside. Layer lettuce, roast beef, cucumber, tomatoe, bell pepper, zucchini and onion slices in pita bread halves. Serve with sauce. (Makes 8 servings)
