Cocktail Hamburgers

3 Lb. Lean Ground Chuck
2 Slighly Beaten Eggs
1/2 Cup Grated Onion
1 Green Bell Pepper, finely chopped
2 teas. Salt
1/4 teas. Watkins Black Pepper
1 teas. Watkins Sage

Combine ingredients, and mix with hands, but don't be heavy-handed. Using the palm of the hand, shape into balls the size of walnuts and flatten out. Broil on both sides.

Sauce
1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Cups Ketchup
2 teas. Watkins Nutmeg
3 Teas. Watkins Dry Mustard

Combine ingredients and simmer 10 minutes. Combine hamburgers and sauce and put into chafing dish. Serve with cocktail buns about the size of a half dollar.
