Candied Sweet Potatoes

6 Medium Sweet Potatoes (about 2 pounds / 908 g), scrubbed and unpeeled
1/3 Cup / 180 mL Brown Sugar
3 Tbsp. / 45 mL Water
3 Tbsp. / 45 mL Butter
2 teas. /10 mL Watkins Seasoning Salt
3/4 teas. / 4 mL Watkins Pumpkin Pie Spice

Boil potatoes in salted water for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender; drain well and cool slightly. Slip off skins and cut into thick slices; place in 1.5-quart / 1.5-liter casserole. In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and remaining ingredients; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly. Pour over sweet potatoes; mix well. Bake uncovered at 350ºF / 180ºC for 30 minutes, stirring frequently, until well glazed. Makes 6 servings.
