Easy Spanish Rice

Turn this great side dish into an easy main dish by adding one pound of ground beef, sausage or turkey, cooked and crumbled.

1 Cup Watkins Uncooked Brown & Wild Harvest Rice Blend
1 Medium Onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 Tbsp. Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
2 1/2 Cups Water
1 Can (8 Oz.) Tomato Sauce
1 Small Green Bell Pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 1/2 teas. Salt
3/4 teas. Watkins Chili Powder
1/2 teas. Watkins Fiesta Seasoning
1/8 teas. Watkins Garlic Powder Granules

Cook rice and onion in oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is golden brown and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender.  Makes 6 servings, about 1/2 cup each
