French Toast

2 Eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 Cup / 125 mL Milk
1/2 teas. / 2.5 mL Watkins Vanilla Extract
1/4 teas. / 1.2 mL Salt
6 Slices Day-Old Bread
1 Tbsp. / 15 mL Butter

Combine first four ingredients in shallow bowl; mix well. Dip bread slices in the egg mixture. Fry in melted butter until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or tart jelly. Makes 3 servings.
