Ginger Puffs

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tsp. molasses
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. Watkins Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Watkins Ground Cloves
1 rounded tsp. Watkins Ginger

Cream shortening and sugar. Add well-beaten egg and molasses. Mix soda and spices with sifted flour. Combine with the creamed shortening mixture. With hands roll into small balls and then in granulated sugar. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 12-15 minutes. Yield: 6 dozen
