Gourmet Liqueurs

Base:
2 1/2 Cups Vodka
1/2 Cup Sugar (sweetness to taste)

Method:
Add one of the below-suggested flavors to the base. Blend on low speed in blender until the sugar is dissolved. Stop the blender and top the blender up to 30 oz. with distilled or filtered water (distilled water can be purchased at most grocery stores). Blend again and then bottle. Let stand over night to fully develop flavor.

Suggested Flavors:
Amaretto        
3 teas. Watkins Almond Extract
4 teas. Watkins Rum Extract
1 teas. Watkins Chocolate Extract

Banana
1 teas. Watkins Banana Extract

Butter Pecan
2 teas. Watkins Butter Pecan Extract

Cherry
1 1/4 teas. Watkins Cherry Extract

Coconut Rum
2 teas. Watkins Coconut Extract
1 teas. Watkins Rum Extract

Grand Mariner
1 1/2 teas. Watkins Orange Extract

Peach
1 teas. Watkins Peach Extract

Peppermint
1 teas. Watkins Peppermint Extract
Little Green Food Coloring

Pineapple Rum
2 teas. Watkins Pineapple Extract
1 teas. Watkins Rum Extract

Raspberry
1 1/2 teas. Watkins Raspberry Extract

Sambuca
2 teas. Watkins Anise Extract

Strawberry
1 1/2 teas. Watkins Strawberry Extract

Swiss Almond Chocolate
1 1/4 teas. Watkins Almond Extract
1 teas. Watkins Chocolate Extract

Using Liqueurs:
In addition to liqueurs being an "after dinner" drink, here are some other ideas for uses:

-Add to coffee for a "special coffee"

-Pour over ice cream and you can add fruit with it (i.e. peach liqueur with sliced peaches)

-Add to Watkins Cooler Mixes

-Use wherever recipe calls for a liqueur (you can create the flavor and quantity needed)

-Add to whipping cream or whipped topping . . serve over cakes or pies.
