2 Cups White Sugar
1 Cup Water
3/4 Cup White Corn Syrup
1 Tbsp. Watkins Maple Extract
1 Tbsp. Dark Molasses
1 teas. Watkins Butter Extract (optional)
Boil water and sugar until most of foam is gone then add the rest of the ingredients; remove from heat and stir until mixed. Cool and use. Store syrup in a plastic squeeze bottle. This is less expensive and much better than imitation maple syrups you find in the grocery store.
NOTE: The molasses offsets the ultra sweetness of sugar and corn syrup and adds color.
