Molasses Crinkles II

2-2/3 Cups / 650 mL All-Purpose Flour
2 teas. / 10 mL Watkins Ginger
2 teas. / 10 mL Watkins Cinnamon
3/4 teas. / 4 mL Watkins Ground Cloves
1-1/4 teas. / 6 mL Watkins Baking Powder
1/4 teas. / 1.2 mL Baking Soda
1/8 teas. / 0.6 mL Salt
1/2 Cup / 125 mL Dark Molasses
7 Tbsp. / 100 mL Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
2-1/2 Tbsp. / 40 mL Dark Corn Syrup
3/4 Cup / 180 mL Brown Sugar
1 Egg

Sugar

Preheat oven to 375ºF / 190ºC. Combine flour, spices, baking powder, soda, and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine molasses, oil, and corn syrup; mix well. Stir in sugar and egg and mix until smooth. Stir in flour mixture; mix well. Spray baking sheets with cooking spray. Roll dough into 1-inch / 2.5-cm balls. Dip tops in sugar and place on cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes or until browned. Let cool until firm, then remove to wire rack to cool completely. Makes 4 dozen cookies, 2 per serving.
