Mock Chop Suey

1 1/2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
1 Cup Sliced Celery
1 Tbsp. Watkins Onion Flakes
1/8 teas. Watkins Ginger
1/8 teas. Watkins Black Pepper
1/8 teas. Watkins Garlic Powder Granules
1 Recipe Watkins Cream Soup Sauce, thick
1 Tbsp. Watkins Chicken Soup Mix
1 Cup Instant Rice, uncooked
1 Can (4 oz. ) Sliced Mushrooms, drained
1 Can (16 oz.) Chow Mein or Chop Suey Vegetables, drained
2 Tbsp. Watkins Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce
1 1/2 Cups Chow Mein Noodles

Brown meat in large skillet along with celery, Onion Flakes, Ginger, Black Pepper, and Garlic Granules. Drain grease if necessary; set aside.  In saucepan combine Cream and Chicken Soup Mixes, flour, and milk; stir well.  Slowly stir in water.  Boil 1 minute.  Stir in rice, mushrooms, vegetables, soy sauce, and meat mixture.  Place in a covered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.  Bake at 350*F for 1 hour.  Top with chow mein noodles for the last 5 minutes of cooking and bake uncovered or serve on a bed of chow mein noodles. Makes 8 servings.

NOTE:  In a hurry?  Cook on top of stove about 20 to 30 minutes instead of baking.  Serve over noodles.
