Potpourri Bricks

1 oz. Watkins Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 oz. of Watkins Apple Bake Seasoning
2 Tbsp. Applesauce

Mix the applesauce and spices together in a bowl. Work up a somewhat stiff but not dry dough.  Pull off a small amount of dough; gently pat into 1 1/2 inch rectangle. Place the "Brick" onto a cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough (this recipe makes approximately 10 "bricks"). Preheat oven to 275 degrees and bake for 1 1/2 hours until dry and firm. Cool.

*Use as a simmering potpourri by simply dropping in boiling water.
*To use as a spice, drop into container of simmering cider.
*As a sachet, wrap 1 to 3 bricks in muslin. Tie with a pretty bow.

You can also use other Watkins Spices...allspice...nutmeg...cinnamon... Enjoy!
