Back Watkins Cooking
Spray
2 Large Eggs
1 teas. Watkins Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 Cup Unsifted Cake Flour
2 teas. Baking Powder
1/2 teas. Salt
1/2 teas. Watkins Nutmeg
1/8 teas. Watkins Ginger
1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans
1 or 2 Large Apples, peeled, cored, and grated (1 cup grated)
Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 350*F. Lightly coat a baking pan with Watkins Cooking Spray. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Whisk together and add the dry ingredients. Stir in the nuts and grated apple. Turn the batter out onto the prepared pan and bake for 40 - 45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and springy to the touch and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm, spooned from the baking pan.
