Whole-Wheat Thin Pizza Crust Mix
1 teas. / 5 mL Watkins Pizza Seasoning
1-1/2 Cups / 375 mL Julienne-Cut Zucchini
3/4 teas. / 4 mL Watkins Garlic Salt
8 oz. / 226g Sliced Mushrooms
1-1/2 Cups / 375 mL Shredded Mozzarella or Provolone Cheese
1-1/2 Cups / 375 mL Thinly Sliced Roma Tomatoes, seeded
3/4 Cup / 180 mL Thinly Sliced Onion
2 teas. / 10 mL Watkins Basil
To taste, Watkins Garlic Salt
To taste, Watkins Black Pepper
1/4 Cup / 60 mL Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Prepare pizza crust dough according to package directions, adding the Pizza Seasoning to dry mix. Meanwhile, sprinkle zucchini with garlic salt, let drain on paper toweling until ready to prepare pizza; blot dry before using. Sauté the mushrooms in a nonstick skillet just until moisture begins to appear. Place on paper toweling and blot dry. Preheat oven to 450ºF / 235ºC. Prebake prepared crust for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and layer on cheese, zucchini, mushrooms and remaining ingredients. Bake at 450ºF / 235ºC for 10 to 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Makes 6 servings.
