1 lb. Extra-Lean Ground Beef
2 Tbsp. Watkins Onion Soup Base
2 Tbsp. Dry Bread Crumbs
1/2 teas. Watkins Garlic Powder Granules
1/8 teas. Watkins Ginger
1/8 teas. Watkins Pepper
1 Can (15 1/4 oz.) Pineapple Chunks (drain and keep juice)
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Watkins Original Barbecue Sauce
Concentrate
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/4 Cup Reserved Pineapple Juice
2 teas. Watkins Onion Flakes
Combine ground beef, onion soup, bread crumbs, garlic powder granules, ginger and black pepper; mix well. Shape into 1" meatballs. Arrange in a 12x8 inch glass baking dish. Cover with waxed paper and Microwave (HIGH) 5-6 minutes or until set, rotating dish once. Drain and set aside. Combine brown sugar, barbecue sauce concentrate, ketchup, pineapple juice and onion flakes in a 1-cup measure; mix well. Microwave (HIGH) uncovered for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes or until boiling. Add pineapple chunks to dish with meatballs and pour sauce over all; mix well. Microwave (HIGH) uncovered for 6-7 minutes (stir 2 or 3 times). Serve with toothpicks. Serves 10.
