Rice Amandine

2 1/2 Cups / 625 ml Water
1 teas. / 5 ml Butter or Margarine
3 Tbsp. / 45 ml Watkins Onion Flakes
1 1/2 Tbsp. / 25 ml Watkins Chicken Soup Base
1 Tbsp. / 15 ml Lemon Juice
1 teas. / 5 ml Watkins Lemon Pepper
1 1/4 Cups Watkins Harvest Treasures White & Wild Rice Blend
1 Cup / 250 ml Frozen French-style Cut Green Beans, thawed
3 Tbsp. / 45 ml Toasted, sliced Almonds
 

Combine first six ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes.  Stir in green beans and almonds; let stand covered 10 minutes.  Fluff with fork before serving.  Makes 6 servings.
