1/4 Cup / 125 mL Butter or
Margarine
1/3 Cup / 80 mL Diced Onion
1/3 Cup / 80 mL Diced Celery
4 Cups / 1 liter Dry Bread Cubes
2 teas. / 10 mL Watkins Poultry Seasoning
2 Eggs, beaten
1 Cup / 250 mL Milk
To taste,Freshly-ground Watkins Sea Salt
To taste, Watkins Black Pepper
Sauté onions and celery in butter until lightly browned. Add this mixture, along with Poultry Seasoning, to bread cubes. Combine eggs and milk. Add to bread cubes and toss lightly to mix. Stuff loosely into neck and breast cavities of bird. Or place in casserole dish; cover and bake until heated through. Makes 4 cups / 1 liter, 1/2 cup/125 mL per serving.
