Italian plum (Roma) tomatoes can be distinguished by their small size and oblong shape. They have mour pulp (less juice and seeds) and are usually sweeter than round red tomatoes.
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Watkins
Original Grapeseed Oil
2 Tbsp. / 30 ml Red Wine Vinegar
2 teas. / 10 ml Watkins Horseradish Mustard
1 teas. / 5 ml Watkins Liquid Basil Spice
Freshly ground Watkins Sea Salt to taste
Watkins Onion & Garlic Pepper to taste
7 Cups / 1.75 L torn Romaine Lettuce or a packaged Italian Blend
3 Plum Tomatoes, sliced
4 Oz. / 113 g. Mozzarella Cheese, cut into 1/4 inch / 0.6 cm
strips
In small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, mustard, liquid spice, salt and pepper. Chill until serving time. Place lettuce in large salad bowl; toss with 2 Tbsp. / 30 ml of the dressing. Place tomatoes and cheese on top and drizzle with remaining dressing. (Makes 4 servings).
