Back 1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup White Corn Syrup
1/2 Cup Butter of Margarine
4 Quarts Popcorn
(Food Coloring if desired)
1/2 teas. Salt
1/2 teas. Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Watkins Vanilla Extract (or any flavor of
your choice}
Watkins Cooking spray
Oven Method
Pour popcorn in large roosting pan sprayed with Watkins
Cooking Spray. Combine sugar, syrup, butter or margarine and salt
in small saucepan and bring to boil. Boil for 5 min. with
occasional stirring. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and
extract; stir well. Pour over popcorn in roasting pan and mix
well. Bake 1 hour at 225*F, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on
waxed paper to cool.
