Kim
& Dave's introduction
to Watkins came after Kim was invited to a
Watkins Party at a friends house. She was so
impressed with the products she booked her own
party!
The evening she held her party, she could see
that her friends and family had a great interest
in the products just as she did. She had
previously quit her full time secretary position
and was looking for something to do from home so
she could stay home with her son Ryan. Several
businesses she had tried from home didn't produce
the income or results she was looking for.
She decided to give Watkins a try and immediately
saw income! She did several of the bookings from
her party which led to a very lucrative home
party business. About 4 months after she started
with Watkins she & Dave were able to move
from their mobile home into a house on a 1 acre
wooded lot and Watkins has been able to pay the
mortgage payment on their home every month since!
As time passed they learned other ways of
building a Watkins business and perhaps the most
rewarding in every way has been sponsoring other
Associates into Watkins. Not only were they
helping them financially but in other areas of
their lives as well! Dave was still employed at
his corporate position with a local electric
utility but enjoyed helping her with the Watkins
Business in the evenings. In February of 1993
they were promoted to Watkins Managers.
In 1996 Dave was downsized from his corporate
position and decided to join Kim in working their
Watkins home business full time. It turned out to
be a wise decision as their home business kept
growing and growing! They have watched their
business grow from it's humble beginnings to an
organization spread out over 40 + states and
several countries.
They were also featured in several Watkins
Publications as well as awarded trips to Rome and
New Zealand! The trips were something special
that they would have never experienced without
Watkins! Having the freedom to control their time
and income is priceless! The secret to their
success is being patient, persistent and never
giving up. The benefits and income they have
received from their business are well worth it!
