Linda
Sikut and Dan Sikut started
their home-based Watkins business in June 1995.
In 1997, they were promoted to the Management
position and they haven't looked back since!
"Watkins has changed our life" says
Linda. "We have met so many wonderful people
as a direct result of working our business".
Linda and Dan do home parties together as well as
catalog sales, fund raisers and shows and fairs.
As Award winners and trip earners, they have
achieved international recognition from Watkins.
They also participte in Watkins training programs
to teach others how to succeed, not only with the
Rising-Stars team, but as International Trainers.
By helping those in their
organization, Linda and Dan have experienced the
reward of helping others reach the leadership
position. "It's exciting when someone
reaches a step of their dream" says Linda.
"We thoroughly enjoy seeing others reach
their first level of success." Linda and Dan
believe that training is extremely important and
that is why this web site was originally created.
In January 1999, Linda was
chatting online with Dave Hirko. She said she was
going to build a training web site for her team.
Dave suggested that they do it together and thus
the Rising-Stars Team was
born. Articles were written, proofed and uploaded
fast and furious. With the web site's launch date
of Feb 1, 1999, they both had to work hard to
make it happen. While the Sikut's and Hirko's are
crossline from each other, they have forged a
strong business relationship that has benefitted
both organizations. Linda's challenge was to
learn more and more about creating web sites and
to teach Dave because he maintains the recipe
section. In 2001 Dave & Linda were joined by
Audrey Okaneko as all three leaders developed
another website that focused on a niche market.
Of course, Linda, once again, was off creating
the new web site. "I have so much fun doing
this", says Linda. "Creating websites
that reach out to others makes me feel good about
my business."
Linda and Dan both say their lives
have changed because of their Watkins business.
Watkins supplements have improved their health
and may have actually saved Dan's life. They are
convinced that this is the best business
available anywhere! Their team has received
several awards from Watkins and they have earned
world travel simply because of their dedication
to their business.
"We are so thankful that we
found Watkins." say Linda and Dan. Watkins
has allowed Linda to leave her job and thus be
even more available to their team.
