A very good friend of mine was cleaning out the back of her
Mini-van in her driveway on a Wednesday. On Thursday I saw her and spoke with her
and she told me that her son had become carsick and she had to remove the entire seat plus
car seats and all items in the vehicle to try to remove the smell. She told me she
had tried all the regular cleaners and sprays to cover and clean the odor. She tried
Lysol, Resolve, Glade and even Fabreeze to no avail. Each time she used something it
would mask the smell for an hour or two and then it would begin to fade.
Friday we participated together in a small business open house.
She complained that her car still smelled as bad as it did after her son was sick. I was
spraying the Apple Pie air enhancer into the cap and offering it to people who came in to
find out more about Watkins, and I realized that maybe since she had driven over I could
offer her a few sprays of the air enhancer and that maybe it would help a little.
She took me up on my offer and I waited all night looking forward to hearing how the air
enhancer stood up to the other sprays. On Saturday I spoke with her again and she
said "I am sold on Watkins!" She went on to explain that the car no longer
smelled (she even woke up early and ran out to the car to check if it still smelled like
Apple Pie overnight) at all and that she was so thankful to me for giving her the chance
to use it.
I asked her if I could use her testimonial and she was pleased to let me. She said
it was over a week before the strong scent of apples was gone and the van doesn't smell at
all any more.
