WATKINS SOUP BASES & GRAVY MIXES

The Soup Bases are one of my favorite Watkins food products. I especially like the Beef Soup Base. I love to use it to flavor my gravies.   I used boullion cubes before trying Watkins Soup Bases but never again.  Not only are they less salty, I don't have to wait for them to dissolve.

I have been really sick for over a week. I have been having mostly soups and drinks, until I fell better. I decided to try the onion soup base, (broth only) I was surprised how easy it went down! Other soup bases that I have tried is gritty or salty tasting. The onion soup base reminded me of the soup, you get in a fancy restaurant. I was told how good it was but, wanted to save the samples for customers! I am glad I tried it!

Your Chicken Broth has been a lifesaver last winter, and also this winter. For lunch-instead of coffee or tea, I have a cup of broth (the beef is good too!!!) and a sandwich. This makes a great lunch..The best part is, that it is so mild- low sodium- and yet tasty.!!  I could go on and on, but let this be all for today...lest I fill several pages !!!!!

Being a Gourmet cook and being French, I like to use the top quality of products, also I am health conscious person and always check and read all the labels. I was delighted to see that the Watkins chicken Bouillon has only 580 mg salt and 0.5 mg fat, furthermore this chicken broth does not have any MSG (Monosodium Glutamate). I used to use the Knorr Swiss bouillon cubes, when I did not have access to my real homemade chicken broth, tut was reluctant to do so, because it contains 1,230 mg of salt (sodium) and 1 gram of fat, but more disturbing it contains MSG.

So I was so glad to discover the Watkins chicken broth, with all the nice things. The surprise in this was that not only its economical to use, but above that, it was to discover that the chicken broth taste outstanding! its so good, good enough to cook with, and to use as a nice comforting hot drink in a cold winter days. Needless to say that my cupboard never goes without this broth. I am sold on it, and sold a lot of them too.
